FNWIL recently received a grant from MasterClass to provide access to educational resources to up to 300 nonprofit organizations. Through the Northwest Illinois Nonprofit Alliance, the educational arm of The Foundation, new and existing members may obtain free access to the MasterClass platform.
“The mission of The Foundation for Northwest Illinois is all about empowering nonprofits and one way we do that is through education,” stated Michelle DeHaven-Quast, CEO. “MasterClass videos give our nonprofits the opportunity to not only learn more about areas relevant to their work, but also utilize the resource as an educational opportunity for their own constituents. We firmly believe stronger nonprofit organizations are essential for stronger communities.”
MasterClass is the streaming platform where viewers learn from the world’s best. Subscribers get unlimited access to 100+ instructors and classes across a wide range of subjects, including philanthropy, business, nonprofit management, and so much more. Each class features about 20 video lessons, at an average of 10 minutes per lesson. Cinematic visuals and close-up, hands-on demonstrations make you feel like you’re one-on-one with the instructors, while the downloadable instructor guides help reinforce your learning.
