Giving to and through The Foundation for Northwest Illinois is one of the easiest ways you can be philanthropic and support your community.

The Foundation encourages community involvement at every level of giving, increasing support for causes that people in our region care about, and boosting nonprofit visibility. We believe that everyone can support their community in a meaningful way, and a wide range of people in our communities have been involved for decades—no gift is too small.

You can establish a permanent fund that will be overseen by The Foundation,  a tax-exempt, public charity managed by professionals that evaluate and assess emerging community needs and find donors that want to support and fulfill those needs.
