RAMP was awarded $6,365 in our 2022 Spring Grant cycle. RAMP’s mission is to build an inclusive community that allows individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential. In an effort for full inclusivity for all, we work with the community to remove barriers and provide resources that will offer opportunities to increase accessibility. RAMP is working with the Stephenson County Fairgrounds to increase the accessibility of the Stephenson County Fair and other events that take place at the fairgrounds. Following the accessibility audit, RAMP provided a report of accessibility improvements needed at the fairgrounds. The fairground staff and board of directors then created a plan to address the findings and make the fairgrounds accessible for all.
