Matt Moyer

Matt Moyer

Matt Moyer graduated from Dakota High School in 2007.  After high school, Matt attended Highland Community College for 2 years prior to transferring to Illinois State.  Graduating from ISU in May 2012 with a degree in Finance, he returned to the area to work for Citizens State Bank as a credit analyst in Lena, IL.  In 2014, Matt moved to the Freeport location and became a Loan Officer focusing on commercial and residential mortgage loans. He has also serve as the Finance Committee Chair for the Freeport Salvation Army and serves as a commissioner for the Freeport Planning Commission.  In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with family.

Jenny Blocker

Jenny Blocker, CPA, is a Partner and member of Benning Group, LLC. Most of Jenny’s early work experience was obtained working for local banks in teller, bookkeeping, and back room operations. She also worked for a small manufacturing company for two years while attending Rockford College, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She began her professional career with Newell Rubbermaid’s corporate accounting department in Freeport in 1999. While at Newell, Jenny specialized in acquisition integration, working closely with newly acquired companies to assimilate financial reporting, policies, and software within the existing Newell framework. She was also a liaison between the corporate tax, legal, treasury, and accounting departments, preparing accounting documents for the internal restructuring of the company’s domestic and international divisions. Jenny also assisted in the day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting department by supervising staff accountants, reviewing divisional financial statements, and overseeing the consolidation of the company-wide month end financials. In 2004, Jenny joined Benning Group, LLC. Jenny supervises many of the firm’s audits, specializing in non-profit organizations and financial institutions. In addition to audits, she provides QuickBooks consulting services to the firm’s clients. Jenny also provides tax preparation and planning services to a wide variety of entities, including individuals, small businesses, financial institutions, and non-profit organizations.

Kim Rampenthal

Kim Rampenthal recently retired as Vice President of Business Development at Solutions Bank. Prior to her time at Solutions Bank, Kim worked for decades in the public and non-profit sector, including 18+ years in higher education.  Some of those higher ed years were in a fundraising/advancement capacity, which has informed and enriched her work with FCF.

In addition to being Vice President of the FCF board, Kim is a member of Greater Freeport Partnership’s Women’s Enrichment Network steering team and the Enduring Gift Fund (endowment) committee at her church.

In her free time, Kim and her husband Paul enjoy an active outdoorsy lifestyle (hiking, running, bicycling etc), which usually involves rewarding their efforts with local craft beer.  ?  They enjoy traveling to interesting places, including but not limited to visiting their 4 little grandkids in California and Idaho.

Kelly Myers brings over 25 years of experience working fornonprofit organizations in the tristate area. He has experience in fundraising leadership, event planning, and major and planned gifts. He has also served as capital campaign consultants for organizations like Jo Daviess Conserversation Foundation where he is currently on staff as Development Director.

Yvette Sellers

Yvette Sellers has been with the Northern Illinois Food Bank for seven years in her role as the Agency Relations Area Leader. Yvette works with food pantries for the North West Region which includes Boone, DeKalb, Ogle, Stephenson, and Winnebago counties. Sellers also co-developed Mind, Body, and Spirit, an innovative approach to eliminating food insecurity and inequity in the African American and Latino communities.

 
Andrew Stewart

Andrew is a Wealth Advisor with Lucas Group Financial Advisors and supervisor with Lucas Group CPAs.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Rockford University. He has over 13 years of experience in tax consulting and services at a regional CPA firm and specializes in all aspects of tax planning for both individual and business wealth management clients at Lucas Group.

Andrew currently volunteers as a youth football coach and lives with his wife, Casey and his two children, Aubrey and Brody in Freeport.

Judd Thruman

Judd D. Thruman was born and raised in Northwest Illinois. He earned his J.D. from Northern Illinois University in 1999, graduating magna cum laude. From 1999 until 2002, he was an associate attorney with a law firm in suburban Chicago. In 2002, he joined the firm of Snow, Hunter, Whiton and Fishburn, Ltd., the predecessor of Fishburn Whiton Thruman Ltd.

Judd focuses his law practice in the areas of business and corporate transactions, estate planning and administration, banking and commercial transactions, real estate, and municipal law. He serves on the boards of directors for local for-profit organizations. He has volunteered and served as a director on numerous boards and committees of local not-for-profit organizations throughout the area.
