The Foundation for Northwest Illinois is accepting grant applications for the 2024 Marvin · Wilson Community Needs grant cycle beginning February 15 and closing on April 1. Application procedures and grant guidelines are available online. Funding for the Marvin · Wilson Community Needs grants comes from the Matthew A. Online applications must be submitted to The Foundation for Northwest Illinois by 4:00 pm on April 1, 2024. Organizations that may apply include those that seek funds for projects greater than $2500, are recognized by the IRS as a nonprofit organization for more than one year, and serve the communities and residents of Stephenson, Jo Daviess, and Carroll counties. Grant awards will be announced by late spring. Applicant’s seeking funding for projects less than $2500 should contact The Foundation.
Grant applicants are also asked to attend one of the available Zoom seminars in advance of the opening of the grant cycle. Seminar dates are January 30 and February 6 at 10 am and 2 pm respectively.
